# Build your first invoicing flow

> Shared API fields, country-specific invoicing rules, and small working examples.

Start with a customer. Add the sale. Issue the right document.
Choose your issuing country below before adding fiscal fields. The Mexico recipes use
one example throughout: **MXN 1,000 of consulting + MXN 160 IVA = MXN 1,160**.
